I quickly planted a stargazer lily in shallow dirt three years ago. I didn’t want to throw it out (I received it in a pot), but I never thought it would actually take root and grow annually. Again this year, this beauty rose up from a very neglected side of our garage that spends many months buried in snow. I love their strong fragrance.

I love lilies! This year the chipmunks ate all the blossoms off mine so thank you for sharing yours!

I had several but they were choked out by my common day lilies. I’m planting again but in a less perilous place… Yours are gorgeous!

It is beautiful, and I’m sure there are lessons there about God’s ability to bring forth beauty from what many would classify as worthless trash. People should not be thought of as irredeemable; God can work miracles in people where some see impossibility.
